I have not read the book yet, but I hope that it contains the need for personal profiles, professional branding or consolidation of all of your assets into one place. Today there are too many people sending resumes to every company they know looking for a job handout. Part of the trouble getting their "foot in the door" is that recruiters have to work too hard to quality a candidate. I recommend building a personal or professional portfolio online so recruiters or hiring managers have one place to go to see all of your assets. You can build your own web site, use www.brightfuse(careerbuilder affiliate).com or www.pzhone.com for the more sophisticated portfolios. It doesn't matter which method you choose, but consolidating your assets into one presentation is an absolute must in this environment.
