CareerBuilder.com released a new survey today, and the results may surprise you. One-third of female workers in our survey said that they were paid less than their male counterparts who had the same experience and qualifications.
Comparing salaries was one measurement. There was eye-opening data about salaries in the following categories:
- 19 percent of men said they earned $75,000 or more annually, versus 7 percent of women.
- 40 percent of men indicated they made more than $50,000 annually, while 21 percent of women were in that salary bracket.
- 47 percent of women said that they made $35,000 or less yearly, versus 28 percent of men.
