Yaaaaawn.
We’re nearing the end of Monday. A summer Monday no less. No matter how much you love your job, it’s hard to get through the first day of the week without wishing you were, I don’t know, outside playing in a broken fire hydrant. zzzz. So while you were trying to keep your peepers open and not drown in a stack of work, you might’ve missed these worthwhile reads.
- Read this one first, otherwise you’ll keep putting it off and putting it off…
Procrastination Thriving in Stressful Workplace - See, some industries are thriving during the recession.
Nursing Shortage Eases With Recession’s Help - Here’s another way to look at the state of the job market. And it might not be so bad.
Unemployment Figures vs. Hours Worked - Calm down, everyone. This Harvard smarty pants says we’re not out of the woods just yet.
The labor market has NOT yet signaled a turning point
Hope you had a good Monday!

Balderama is the worst (or should I say the best), advocate for the new abusive workplace, I’ve read in a long time. It proves to me lie-rs do believe their own lies, if they repeat them to themselves enough times.
The new workplace is steeped full, now, with young, self centered, get what I can get, managers from the, me, myself and I generation. Performance oriented, or should I say performance driven, their only concern is for their bonus and what they can get.
You’ve obviously fallen into this mindset yourself. By the way, how old are you?!
