		<description>This is interesting. I wonder if this is simply a &#039;top down&#039;approach or through negotiation and engagement with staff. 

If the latter all well and good. If the former, I seriously wonder if better cuts could have been made with staff input. 

I know of companies where staff have been involved and, while not always palatable, the buy in is there to safeguard jobs and the company long term.

How much will you really save by getting rid of the coffee machine, compared to say, the CEO&#039;s salary being reduced by 10%?</description>
