Be sure to enter a valid e-mail address where we can reach you in case your question is chosen. Your e-mail will not be published, so don’t worry.

Also, here are the rules and regulations in case you have any questions.

On Friday we’ll answer the winning question and notify the winner.

So talk to us and let us know what’s on your mind!

A few years ago I had an interview with a company that went so well they hired me on the spot and of course I accepted the offer. My question is; would it be appropriate to ask for sometime to consider the job offer instead of accepting the offer on the spot.

I was ask this question: If you had to choose a state to blow up what state would it be?
The job was for a sales position, in which I can not then or now think of any position other then the CIA, FBI or government related job would even ask such a off the wall question as this.

o quer que a velha foi la no rio?

Hallo Bill,

There is not an age limit for studying. Only, you must have determination. When you have it, every way in life is open to you. Yolun acik olsun. Iyi sanslar. Good luck.

Roco

is their really any free site or way to look up someones email address with paying for it?
thanks

I left a job several years ago due to a DM who was out of control. Ex: 1. was angry and knocked a phone off a co-workers desk 2. slapped a co-worker 3. run up and down the hall cursing F, F, F, GD, MF, etc. There were only 5 of us in the office. 6 months after I left the DM was fired.
How or what do I tell an interviewer when it comes to this previous employer.

Thank you

I was fired! How in this economy can I possibly tell the truth when they say "Have you ever been terminated..."

Will I EVER get the job if I tell the truth?

Should someone be willing to take a $10,000.00 pay cut after being out of work for almost a year and, if so, what message is that sending to the prospective employer?

In what year will corporations rewrite their anti-harassment policy to include anti-adult bullyism? ( wondering what bullyism is in a workplace???? ) how sad.

How to behave with co-workers who when they with you are very friendly, but then talk of you whatever comes to their minds with others? (of course, when I am absent!)

Honesty pays not in this present world, but it would definitely pay in God's kingdom. Why every is greedy and only after wealth?

I'm 56 years old. I have experience from very large law firms as both Controller and Office Administrator (10 years). I have been a Controller in the publicly-traded, Fortune 500 sector (10 years) I have degrees in Finance/Accounting and Computer Science. I have references out the wazoo, and even letters of recommedation. But I get almost no reply from employers looking for full-time help and employers looking for part-time help obviously think that if they hire me I'll only stay until something better comes along. Do I dumb-down my resume? Do I just give up? Have I gotten this far for nothing? Help!!

I have passed two parts of a 3 part interview process with a company, at the end of the second interview was told that I would be hearing something either way on Thurs.( my interview was on Tues)However by the following Thurs I had not heard anything so i called them on Mon. I spoke to one of the three people that had interviewed me,and he said they had a couple of late applicants to interview still, but he would give me a definate answer on Thurs. (once again it's Thurs. apparently H.R. is closed on Fri.)Now it is Friday and still no word from anyone.
Is this a brush off technique (why wouldnt they just tell me they have chosen someone else if that was the case? or could they just be very disorganised? This is a large corporation I really don't know what to think. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

How do explain gaps in work history if you do not have volunteer experience, attending school, family obligations or awards and freelance work to fills the gaps in work history. I have been unemployed for two years now, and having a hard time finding a job.

I have a prepaid vacation and was wondering if I should mention this in an interview or wait till the job is offered?

I left my last job because I gave up trying to be accepted by a true Bully Clique. What can I say to at my next interview to explain why I left the job without sounding like I can't get along with co-workers?

I've been out of work for 15 months. I applied for a position that required a lot of experience and the ability to collaborate with officers, managers and employees to reach consensus. I've been in the workforce over 20 years... even owning a database consulting business for 10.

They called the following week and interviewed me for 20-30 minutes. I thought I nailed the interview. Two days later they offered me the job... at $10/hour. (Did I mentioned I made more than four times that amount 2 years ago?!) And, they required a 6-month commitment. I was, well, pissed. I think I said, "That's not going to happen", and hung up.

A couple days later I swallowed my pride and called her back, figuring any money was better than no money. Plus, I just might build some skills and make some connections. They had already filled the position.

If this happens again, how should I handle accepting the position? Should I say anything at all about the compensation? And, if they require a 6-month commitment, should I even accept it?

IN TODAYS ECONOMY HOW DO I FIND THE RIGHT JOB.????

My question is I have 1.5 years of experience in my chosen field. I've had to resign from 3 places due to their lack of professionalism. Now I have to think of the last question on the application which is "Why did I Leave my last job?" I am having trouble thinking of a good answer, I don't want to say I resigned on all of them. Please help me find the answers? Thank you, Becky

This may be a weird question: Can you please tell me if it is against some kind of office etiquette to reach out to a previous interviewer that extended an offer to me that I did not accept??? I would like to contact a previous company that I interviewed with 2 years ago (because I kick myself that I didnt accept their offer). Is this considered networking, or just plain weird??!!! Thanks!

After years of work experience, what is your advise on education advancement? ( I have some college only)

What is the best strategy for making a radical career change after completing a University Degree (Bachelors) when one is between 50 and 55 years old?

How do you get the details of the benefits (like health care cost and days of vacation) before taking a position?

How do you ask if that's the most that they will offer without offending them or sounding greedy?
