It's always good to see what companies are hiring. However, many of those companies are sales based and how many actually work in that field. There are also many IT jobs, but with so many unemployed with experience, these positions are relatively easy to fill. Companies can post their wish list, and it would be interesting to see the percentage of these positions are filled with people with wish list experience. The economic stimulus package was to get construction going again. many sectors of the economy are based on this. I would like to see who is hiring related to construction. What has happened to all the "shovel ready" jobs? Not so shovel ready after all? I am a planner and am very aware of the process involved to get a project to "shovel ready". Evidently some planning, acquisition, permitting, etc. has been missed or overlooked.
