The fact is employers are not hiring unless they absolutely need to fill a necessary position that is vacant for a variety of reasons.
Most of the jobs posted on any internet job board are positions that pay STRAIGHT COMMISSION if you are in sales.Jobs in other fields usually require a specialized skill set if they are not entry level(low paying).
Things will not improve until we have a real president, and politicians who vote for their job security are removed from office.

The last idiot in the White House is a large part of this mess in which we find ourselves currently. However, I would agree with you, the worst part is no matter who is in the Oval Office, the folks in Congress are for sale to the highest bidder so real reform, that which would benefit the rest of us, is out of the question.
