Losing zzzzs over $$$$s

I can’t keep track of how many times a day I hear someone tell me, “I’m soooo sleepy.”
I suppose I could take that as a sign that I’m boring, but it seems that friends and colleagues are just tired these days. The “I didn’t sleep very well” conversations seem to occur on a daily basis, too. According to the National Sleep Foundation, a lot of people are feeling this way. And a lot of it has to do with the economy. According to their latest poll, one-third of Americans’ sleep habits are suffering due to worries about the economy and finances.
If you’re one of these sleepless people and often find yourself staring at the ceiling when everyone else is dreaming, here’s something to think about.
A sleep technician earns an average of $33,311 year. So you could be making money by observing people who don’t sleep.
A sheep herder earns an average of $19,780 per year. Why count sheep when you could herd them?
If you were a sand mixer, you could make $26,809 per year. You’d be so tired from all the labor that you wouldn’t have trouble sleeping…and you wouldn’t have that creepy “Mr. Sandman” song to keep you up at night.
I’m sure there are more sleep-related occupations you can wonder about until you find yourself dozing off!
