OMG – I did have somebody I was interviewing for a position inquire about what the hours would be because she pursued her profession as a clown. I said, “8-5, typically.” Her response was, “Thank goodness. I have had such a hard time finding a job that was able to accomodate my clowning schedule. I often am working during the weekends and in the evenings, so I am glad to hear that will not be an issue.”

I thought, “Really, you had a tough time finding a job that didn’t require nights and weekends?”

Your first request to change in the cubicles reminded me of someone I worked with.

This person didn’t make a request; he just did it and got away with because it was a very small office and he was buddies with our boss). After work, he changed in the supply closet. One time I went to the closet to get some envelopes, but couldn’t open the door. A couple minutes later, he emerged from the supply closet and left for the day.
