Although, you are well intentioned, this really does not help. We need real jobs that pay a decent wage, not just temp jobs, selling jobs. We need jobs for the blue collar American- remember, the backbone of America. Also, white collar jobs now.
I love my country, but what has happened is a cancer called greed, without any regard for the worker. Corporations want it both ways. We need honest organized labor back in this country!

Can careerbuilder.com – provide any statistics on how many individuals over the age of 50 they have either 1) Placed in position 2) Contacted for employment.

Why most positions are sales postions: If you look at the trends – Most companies have outsourced all the technical positions overseas, with the idea the US personnel would be used for sales –

With the unemployment statistics – How many mass-layoff jobs have been due to Technology companies sending the jobs overseas to avoid paying taxes in the US….

CEO’s are reaping the benefits by huge bonuses – and putting the US as risk – these are the Economic Terroists that will bring this country down, high number of unemployed will reap high criminal activity

Ya know, I have been unemployed for almost six weeks. I was an administrative medical assistant for over fifteen years, with the last nine years at the same job.
I have been working like a dog to find a job, to no avail.
So, I decided I am going to nursing school. If the federal government is going to get us in this garbage mess of an economy, then they can sure as well pay for my nursing school so that I can find a job.
Hint to all who are looking, consider career retraining.
