Monday’s good reads roundup

Can you smell that? It’s the scent of Labor Day looming in the distance. Or maybe it’s the odor of hot dogs burning on the grill because you forgot to check on them. Either way, today’s the first of a very long week for many workers who can think of nothing but a 3-day weekend.
