The next step: How you plan your long-term career goals

Last Friday we hosted the #HFChat on Twitter, a weekly chat focusing on job seekers and ranging in topics each week from resumes, cover letters, networking and more.

Our topic was “The next step – how you plan your long-term career goals” and there was some tremendous feedback & info from both employers and job seekers alike.

Regardless of where you might be in your career, it’s always important outline long-term goals and how short-term tactics can help you stay on track so you don’t run into a dead-end job or a career that doesn’t align with your passions.

Read on after the jump for the full transcript of the chat!

Thanks to Margo Rose, Tom Bolt and Cyndy Trivella for asking us to host and we hope to be back again later this year to participate in another great chat.
