Earlier this month, US News and World Report published its 30 Best Careers for 2009. Yes, Virginia, there are still going to be some good jobs out there in the coming year.
Here are just a few of the jobs the article says will be prosperous and what they earn, according to CBsalary.com.
- Cosmetologist
Average annual salary: $26,966 - Fundraiser
Average annual salary: $54,604 - Genetic counselor
Average annual salary: $73,891 - Landscape architect
Average annual salary: $50,843 - Management consultant
Average annual salary: $51,723 - Systems analyst
Average annual salary: $58,628 - Urban planner
Average annual salary: $53,967
