It's important that the review process is a two-way street. An employee should feel it's OK to give their boss feedback as well as receiving it. This is a *relationship* after all. A lot of people don't see it that way, and therefore lose out on a golden opportunity to improve their work environment! FYI I learned this from a course I recently completed which has helped me become much better at meeting my performance targets and objectives.
